Warrior Ritual G6.1 Pro+ Senior Goalie Catcher
The next installment of Warrior’s Ritual goalie gear series is finally here; the Ritual G6.1 Pro+ catcher looks to bring a solid combination of what you already liked in the previous models and some new tech. Features include CoverEDGE+, HyperComp reinforcement, and an AxyFlex T design.
External Material
Similar to how it works in the leg pads, CoverEDGE+ in the glove pushes the face forward a bit to cut the angle when challenging a shooter and the shot. On the G6, the dimensions extend at the thumb, offering a wider catching area.
Break Angle
The G6.1 Pro+ uses a 75-degree break angle, which is an index to mid-thumb closure. This kind of break angle is very finger-driven, meaning it will appeal to goalies who prefer that kind of feel. The 6.1 has a lengthened catching shape and more of an index to low-thumb closure.
Pocket Design
The pocket uses a double-T coupled with an AxyFlex T design to maximize angles and perceived pocket size when challenging a player and the puck. The pocket with AxyFlex looks bigger, since the T is angled more toward the pocket, and additionally helps deflect pucks downward into the pocket rather than outward for a rebound.
The liner in the G6.1 Pro+ catcher is sewn in, and the palm is not removable.
Strapping
The strapping style of the G6.1 hasn’t changed from the G4.
Cuff Design
HyperComp reinforcement is present in both the palm and the cuff and is built for additional protection against impact and stingers.

The Warrior Ritual G6.1 Pro+ Senior catcher comes in Regular and Full Right orientations in the following colourways: Black, White, White/Black, White/Black/Red, White/Red, and White/Royal.
