Stick Flex Profile

The Alpha Evo features a sabre taper which is an exclusive taper to Warrior sticks. The sabre taper is designed to provide a stable, powerful, and controlled release, providing pinpoint accuracy on shots. The taper is built for players that need reliable accuracy from anywhere, and dependable stability when shooting.

This stick also uses a low kick point, meaning that the stick is optimized for quick and explosive shots. The low-kick point is positioned near the bottom of the shaft, allowing players to generate snap shots and wrist shots. This design works well for players who prioritize speed in their shooting technique. The lightning-fast release makes the stick ideal for fast-paced gameplay and situations where a quick shot is crucial.

Shaft Construction

Warrior is constantly reworking their carbon construction and materials when designing their shafts for their stick, and the Evo is both lightweight and durable. While using Minimus Carbon, the flat weave carbon is designed to provide excellent feel for all parts of the game.

The weave is paired with the T.122 shaft construction, which is a high-grade carbon that features the latest lightweight fiber technology and epoxy resin formulation to provide lower weight and increased durability.

The shaft also features an ergonomic shaft shape. The contoured shaped shaft fits comfortably and securely in players hands, enhancing touch and feel for better plays with the puck.

Blade Construction

Warrior continues to use the Fuelcore blade when creating the Evo. It is a lightweight polymer blade core that enhances puck feel and makes the shots pop, and Minimus Carbon composite layering is added around the core to add strength and reduce the breakdown of materials in the blade which in turn increases the durability.

Grip

The Warrior Evo Hockey Stick is designed with a soft tacky grip. Paired with the ergonomic shaft shape, this allows the stick to sit nicely in the players hands while on the ice.

Blade Patterns, Stick Lengths & Flex

The Warrior Alpha Evo Senior Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: W03, W28, W02, and W9T.

W03 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. However this curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.

W02 is a deep heel curve with a square toe. It’s great for big shots and one-timers, and its open configuration makes raising the puck easier.

W28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.

W9T is a hybrid of W03 and W28, it has the lie of the W03 and the toe of the W28. Additionally, the curve is a bit taller for more control and power on faceoffs and board battles.
