Vaughn Ventus SLR Junior Goalie Blocker
Vaughn’s Ventus SLR junior blocker is designed to offer goaltenders the features found in the SLR Pro Carbon at a much more affordable price-point. To start, Vaughn has completely integrated the sidewall into the face of the board to increase durability and rigidity while reducing torque on the wrist during puck impact. The sidewall is made with high-density foam and plastic in addition to an air pillow to fully protect the inside of the hand. The blocker board features a less aggressive curve, compared to the LT88, for consistent rebound control. Vaughn uses a VX suede palm for a comfortable feel. Finally, the blocker includes full wrap around finger protection that covers the fingertips for maximum impact coverage.
