Intro & New Features
The TRUE HZRDUS Lite is a Source for Sports exclusive stick for the 2024 season. This stick has a very similar build to the HZRDUS 3X4 with refreshed graphics throughout the shaft. This build includes Tri Rib Tech in the blade, and Axenic Technology in the construction.
Stick Flex Profile
The HZRDUS Lite features a low kick profile, which is ideal for quick release and up-close shots. The low kick profile works in tandem with the stiffened blade for greater stability in those quick shots.
Shaft Construction & Stiffness
The HZRDUS Lite uses TRUE’s patented Axenic Technology, which is the system they use to craft a truly seamless one-piece stick. In terms of shape, the HZRDUS uses a square corner with double concave walls to combine comfort and speed when stickhandling.
Blade Construction
Tri Rib Tech (TRT) is a system involving specific rib placement in the blade near where it would take the most impact. The resulting blade is lighter, stabler, and much more rigid.
Graphics
The HZRDUS Lite combines the new colour palette of the HZRDUS line with some more unique colouration from the Source for Sports collection. The stick keeps the main black colour, with orange seen on the upper portion of the shaft as well as the bottom and highlights throughout the shaft.
Grip
The HZRDUS Lite stick features a soft gloss grip on the shaft, making it easy to keep a good handle on your stick.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The HZRDUS Lite Intermediate hockey stick is available in the following blade patterns: T28 and T92.
T28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
T92 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
