How to Install Your Tacki-Mac
- Using the double-sided tape that comes with the grip, remove one side of the protective layer and place it on your stick where you want the grip to sit. Leave about ¼ inch hanging over the end of the stick. Begin wrapping around the stick.
- Once halfway through wrapping, remove the other side of the protective layer to expose the second sticky side.
- Continue wrapping the tape around the stick, flattening as you go to keep it smooth.
- Fold the ¼ inch of overhanging tape inside the end of the stick.
- Fill a cup with hot water and add 1 drop of liquid soap (avoid Dawn). Stir to mix.
- Pour the hot soapy water over the tape on your stick and use your finger to smooth and coat the tape.
- Pour some of the soapy water into the inside of the grip itself.
- Place your fingers inside the bottom of the grip, stretch it open, and slide it onto your stick.
- Once on the stick, twist the grip down until the top of the grip is level with the top of the stick.
- Leave for 2 to 3 hours to allow the water underneath to dry.
