Sherwood TMP 1 Senior Hockey Stick
Intro & New Features
Introducing the Sherwood TMP 1 hockey stick - their latest addition in the Code family. With its emphasis on the power and durability this stick features, this stick is designed for players that play their hardest and deliver game-changing performances on the ice. Tech featured on the TMP 1 include BlackLine XXV and PyroFil carbon fibres and weave, a VR92 blade, a responsive hybrid kickpoint, and an Energized Velocity Taper (EVT) shaft.
Stick Profile
The stick uses a responsive hybrid kick point, which has been improved to increase the power and accuracy. The lightning-fast release makes the stick ideal for fast-paced gameplay and situations where a quick shot is crucial. The rapid energy transfer allows players to release the puck with minimal windup, catching goaltenders off guard and increasing the chances of scoring goals.
Shaft Construction
The shaft incorporates various innovative designs and cutting-edge materials to offer elite performance. The BlackLine XXV carbon fibre in the shaft is constructed with a 25K weave for solid consistency and weight reduction. The FeatherLite XT layup helps the stick reach further weight reduction by eliminating excess materials in both the blade and shaft.
The stick also employs Pyrofil carbon fibre, designed by Mitsubishi and found in Sherwood’s Code family. This ultra-lightweight material elevates the stick's overall feel and performance while ensuring exceptional durability when enduring the rigors of intense gameplay.
Lastly, the Ergo Taper shaft (ETS) has been designed specifically for snipers— it integrates three distinct geometric zones, promoting a comfortable grip and allowing the stick to sit naturally in the player's hands. This ergonomic advantage translates to improved control, accuracy, and ultimately empowers the player to unleash precise and powerful shots with confidence.
Blade Construction
The stick incorporates Sherwood’s VR92 blade, which includes an I-92 dampening inlay to elevate the blade's durability and responsiveness. This innovative technology not only strengthens the blade for increased longevity but also significantly improves the feel during passes and shots, providing players with enhanced control and precision in every play they make.
Graphics
With a sleek black base, the stick features a prominent visible 25K carbon weave, adding a touch of modernity and sophistication. The captivating graphics include a yellow Sherwood text logo near the bottom and another logo outlined and positioned at the top. In the middle is the Rekker text logo outlined in red.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The Sherwood Rekker Legend Pro Senior hockey stick is available in the following blade patterns: PP28, PP29, PP88, and PP90TX.
PP88 is a relatively traditional curve. A popular choice in the past, it excels greatly in stickhandling, quick wrist shots, and controlling snap shots.
PP92 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand. P92M is very similar to the P92, but it is just a bit taller.
PP28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
The PP90TX offers the benefits of a toe curve with just a bit more stability. The result is a taller, slightly more square toe for stronger board presence, more power, and more reliable accuracy.
