Shaft Construction
The BlackLine XXV carbon fibre in the shaft is constructed with a 25K weave for solid consistency and weight reduction. The FeatherLite XT layup helps the stick reach further weight reduction by eliminating excess materials in both the blade and shaft. The stick also employs Pyrofil carbon fibre, designed by Mitsubishi and found in Sherwood’s Code family. This ultra-lightweight material elevates the stick's overall feel and performance while ensuring exceptional durability when enduring the rigors of intense gameplay.
Stick Profile
The stick uses an innovative DuoFire kick point, revolutionizing a player's shooting experience. The stick incorporates two distinct zones, eminiscent of a hybrid design. However, what sets it apart is the positioning of the kick point, which is situated lower on the shaft like a low kick. This strategic placement allows players to unleash lightning-fast snap shots with enhanced precision, all while maintaining the stick's ability to generate powerful load potential for explosive shots when needed.
Graphics
With a sleek white base taking up the majority of the stick shaft, paired with it to complete the look of the stick are a black blade and low shaft. This design also includes a black Sherwood text logo as well as a PMP 7000 text logo on the shaft. This gives the stick a traditional look and feels like a wooden stick graphic style.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The Sherwood PMP 7000 is available in PP28 and PP92 blade patterns. This stick also comes in both 75 and 85 flex and in both left and right hand.
PP92 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small paces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a bit on the backhand. P92M is very similar to the P92, but it is a bit taller.
PP28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
