The Sherwood Morph 1 Shoulder Pads are for players who want to bring quickness, deceptiveness, and precision to their game. These shoulder pads have many key specs to make it a reliable option, and are built for the player looking to have equipment that protects them without feeling restricted.
Shoulder Caps & Protection
The shoulders are protected with Nitrex foam. Nitrex is an impact resistant foam that sits inside the shoulder pads and provides players with a level of comfort, but also support during impacts. The padding is also covered with plastic caps in the shoulders to provide an extra layer of protection and support.
Sternum
To protect the sternum, Sherwood added Nitrex impact foam in key areas to keep players protected. The impact foam absorbs impacts of all forces and allows players to continue playing, even after blocking a shot.
Spine Protection
Sherwood continues to use Nitrex foam throughout the shoulder pads. The spine and back are protected with high-quality impact foam, which is designed to disperse impacts away and help prevent players from getting injured.
Bicep Protection
The biceps are protected with a CIP (customizable impact protection) system. This provides the player with a customizable, adaptable fit and protection level. With removable components, players can disattach parts on this pad to achieve a custom feel and fit.
Liner
These shoulder pads are lined with a microban anti-microbial treated liner. This is designed to help eliminate odor-causing bacteria as well as keep the gear lightweight and mobile. The liner is also designed to wick away moisture and keep the gear fresher for longer.
Abdominal Protection Piece
Throughout the shoulder pads and abdominal area, Sherwood added anatomical isolated zones. This design provides a combination of mobility and 360-degree protection. The zones maintain a level of protection by stretching to fit the players anatomy and movements, so that they are protected at all times.
Adjustment
To adjust this shoulder pad, there are velcro straps that can be adjusted and pulled onto a velcro landing to provide players with a snug and secure fit. The velcro is designed to keep all the padding in place and allow players to have a truly customizable feel.
