Shaft Construction
The shaft features a square "T" shaft geometry. This proven square-shaped design provides players with a traditional feel, while providing them grip, control, and support when engaging in battles or shooting.
Blade Construction
The XF70 hockey stick features a UAF blade with a grit finish. This lightweight blade with high torsional and bending stiffness provides accurate shooting, passing, and other movements with the puck.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The CCM Tacks XF70 Junior Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: P29 and P28.
P29 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
P28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
