Intro & New Features
The CCM Phenom leg pads are built with a flat-faced design and strategic shape to help young goalies get a great butterfly seal and direct pucks out with ease. It features added padding along the leg channel and the knee ensures maximum comfort, while the outer landing area of the knee and stabilizer helps young goalies glide with speed.
External Material
The outer portion of these leg pads is made with JenPro material. It is a synthetic leather material commonly used for the external material to provide structure, durability, and an overall clean appearance.
Internal Construction
The CCM Phenom Leg Pads are designed for young goalies that's why they feature a hybrid construction. This construction combines lightweight materials with performance-oriented, stiff-face technology for improved rebound control. These leg pads are also designed with a flat face design, which helps the goalie learn to direct out rebounds with control.
Pad Break
The pre-shaped pad has a flexible single break. This mobile design enables movements for young goalies, and makes it easier to get into the butterfly position, which is a critical movement for goalies at all levels.
Boot Angle
The shallow soft boot channel provides a connected feel between the skate and the pads, so that goalies can have an easier time when first wearing these leg pads.
Leg Channel & Strapping
These pads are designed to provide the legs with a tight fit and is both comfortable and protectable. The tight fit with fly strap system allows for an easy parent-friendly Velcro strapping that helps the pads move in sync with the goalie, meanwhile the pads stay in place and don't move unwantedly.
Knee Stack
The quick stack knee stack gives the goalie extra balance and seal along the ice so no pucks are able to squeak through.
Toe Bridge
CCM designed these leg pads with an offset design with an easy attachment. This construction helps the goalie get the skate to the ice for easy side to side pushes.
