The CCM Jetspeed Control Senior Hockey Shin Guards were specifically designed by Source for Sports to bring elite level players the best features and value. The Control combines features from previous Jetspeed models and adds upgrades from the FT8 to give players the best bang for your buck in a competitive level shin pad.
Shin Protection
The Control shin guards feature an anatomical narrow fitting design, to provide a connected, close to your leg fit. The design wraps around the leg, and with the straps adjusted, it keeps all the protection in place allowing players to be protected and secured from impacts.
Knee Cap & Protection
The shin guards feature a molded thigh pad with a comfort knee donut, allowing your knee to sit nicely in the pads without unwanted movements. The JDP kneecaps offer more freedom of movement and the construction helps disperse force away from your knee joint.
Calf Protection
The calves are protected with exposed EVA foam guards to keep the gear lightweight and durable. The bottom of the shin cap features a compressed foam bumper to provide an additional level of support in those key areas.
Liner
The Control shin pad has an upgraded liner that is sublimated, moisture wicking, and removable. This liner is also anatomical with a knee cut-out that locks your knee in to provide a superior fit. The sublimated liner is ultra-comfortable and easy to wash in order to keep it fresh.
Strapping
To adjust the shin pads, CCM added an adjustable calf strap to lock the fit in place. The padded lock strap provides a snug and extra-comfortable fit that’s customizable for all calf sizes.
