Introducing the new CCM FTW Hockey Helmet, completing the full head-to-toe protective equipment for female hockey players. Designed specifically for women, it provides an improved fit, comfort and protection, while also enhancing their ability on the ice.
Outer Shell Construction
The outer shell features a streamlined new shell with enhanced venting to bring cool air in and help guide heat out. The pro-approved look is designed to elevate your game, and a new addition to this helmet is the pony-tail slot. After thorough scientific research showing differences between the head shapes of men and women, CCM designed a new fit and size range to better fit women so they can play in comfort and safety like never before.
Internal Foams & Liner
The inside of the helmet features R3FLEX protection and Nest Tech for elite players. This 3-in-1 full coverage multipurpose comfort liner has a dynamic response to help manage all types of impacts. The foams provide high energy impact shock absorption, low energy impact cushioning, and it is designed to adapt and conform to the shape of the head.
Fit & Sizing Adjustment
To adjust this helmet, CCM added an ADPTFIT 360 tool free adjustment system, with occipital lock. This design wraps head lengths and widths in one easy step at the back, with extended size range while the integrated hair groove in the occipital+ cushion helps lock the helmet in place comfortably.
Comfort & Protection
The interior of the FTW helmet is developed specifically for the shape of the female head, featuring thermoregulation with strategically placed 3D printed Nest Tech lattice section whose built-in ventilation channels guide fresh air throughout, along with R3FLEX protection cushioned liner, plus a breathable AER-TEC sweatband, designed to wick away moisture and help manage sweat at the forehead. The liner is also removable for easy washing.
Certification
The FTW helmet is certified with HECC (Hockey Equipment Certification Council), CSA (Canadian Standards Association), and CE (European Community) certification. These stickers indicate their compliance with the applicable standards in different leagues.
Sizes & Colors
The CCM FTW Helmet/ Cage Combo comes in sizes XS/S, and M/L. They are also offered in Black, Dark Green, Navy, Red, Royal, and White. This helmet also comes equipped with a CCM FM580 hockey cage in black.
