Intro & New Features
The Heaton Edition CCM Extreme Flex E7.9 Goalie Blocker is new along with the 2025 season. This blocker takes details from previous CCM models to create a solid and reliable blocker for goaltenders. This blocker is equipped with a high-density foam wrap to keep the fingers protected and secure, a Hexa palm, and a stiff sidewall with straight finger protection that is designed to provide strong impact protection.
Internal Construction
The EFlex E7.9 blocker uses a Litecore blocking board. The design of the blocking board provides the blocker with a lightweight balance with a thin profile and molded core for extremely powerful rebounds off the blocker face.
Palm Material
CCM used a Hexa Palm when designing this blocker. The palm has a soft, textured feel for optimal control and comfort. Additionally, the palm includes added ventilation channels along the slide for added breathability. The palm also features a centered palm position to provide a balanced feel.
Side Hand Protection
The side of the hand is protected with a stiff sidewall. The sidewall is made up of high quality and durable material and foams to provide protection from impacts. The straight finger protection has been re-designed for enhanced mobility, coverage, and protection.
Finger Protection
The fingers are protected with a HD finger wrap with added index finger protection. The ergonomic design allows for great coverage and mobility with added impact protection.
Cuff Design
CCM continues to use their flexmotion cuff on the EFlex E7.9 blocker. The flexmotion cuff has strategic segmentation and adjustability for greater range of motion. A new feature to the cuff is the integration of Neoprene. The Neoprene material is designed to provide a comfort finish at the wrist opening.
Color & Graphic
The Heaton Edition CCM Extreme Flex E7.9 Intermediate Blocker features the iconic appearance of the original Heaton GP10. These nostalgic details include the Heaton branding, GP10 logo, and the same red graphic using both printed and cut and sew design elements.
