Intro & New Features
New to 2024 is the CCM Axis XF Intermediate Goalie Leg Pads. Built from a variety of technologies and systems, it includes all the top quality features that a pad should carry. The pre-curved single inner, no break outer flex profile allows for optimized stiffness and coverage in the butterfly stance.
External Material
The exterior material offers superior slide by reducing friction between the pads and the ice. Sliding capabilities are powered by the Dynamic Response System, which includes a one-piece landing zone and enhances seal along the ice. The DRS pro system features a HD one-piece landing zone to increase seal and stability for maximum speed and powerful movements. It is built specifically for strategic impact absorption.
Internal Construction
Constructed with Litexcore and infinite power rebound technology, this very lightweight molded pro core is built for extremely powerful rebounds.The inner sliding zone is constructed of speed channels. The tapered inset channel with a flat outer wing allows for enhanced slideability with added stability. The HD raised inside edge design allows for maximized seal and stability for powerful and effective cross-crease movements.
Pad Break
The pre-curved single inner, no-break outer system is designed to optimize stiffness while still providing coverage in the butterfly stance.
Boot Angle & Toe Taper
It features a 90° boot angle with a shallow channel and a new offset hybrid toe elastic system. It's designed to have an enhanced range of motion and connectivity for power pushes via a new skate lace and elastic system.
Knee Cradle
The open cradle with a removable knee cradle wrap allows for optimal interaction and performance with knee pads.
Strapping
The shallow loose fit with quick motion strap system 2 is a strategic strapping systen. It includes molded upper calf strap for optimal leg positioning and pad rotation, it also features all-new adjustability to get that perfect and secure fit.
