Bauer Vapor X4 Junior Hockey Stick
Intro & New Features
Designed for performance-level players, the Bauer Vapor X4 Hockey Stick pairs elite-level technology with lightweight materials for quicker reactions. Featuring ENERGY CORE 2 BLADE TECHNOLOGY and XE Taper for quick playmaking and faster puck release. Take your game to the next level.
Stick Flex Profile
This stick uses a low kick point. Low kick points bend closer to the hosel for a quicker and whippier feel. The flex profile allows you to lean into your shots easily and helps create faster energy transfer into the blade.
Shaft Construction & Stiffness
Bauer used their high-performance mold and UD carbon which provides a balanced energy transfer through the entire stick, from shaft to blade. This gives you a true one-piece feel enhancing the overall performance of the stick to improve your shooting, passing, and stick handling.
Blade Construction
The weight of the blade was decreased by using 15K carbon fiber in the blade and increasing the carbon content of the stick for added strength. The energy core 2 blade is integrated with dual fiberglass bridges and a stiff lightweight foam. This creates a pop of the blade that will give you more confidence on those quick shots.
Grip
The Bauer Vapor X4 comes with a tacky grip finish. This helps players keep control of their sticks for passing, shooting, and stick handling.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The Bauer Vapor X4 Junior Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: P28, P92, P88.
P92 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs.
P28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good raising the puck.
P88 is a relatively traditional curve. A popular choice in the past, it excels greatly in stickhandling, quick wrist shots, and controlling snap shots.
