Elbow Caps

The elbows are protected with an exposed foam cap. This design features a series of foams that offer a combination of a lightweight design and high-density impact resistance, ensuring reliable protection. The durable elbow construction offers a precise fit around the elbow area for a comfortable and secure feel.

Bicep Protection

To protect the biceps, Bauer implemented a floating bicep design with molded PE protection. The floating bicep design allows the padding to be lightweight, so that players aren’t feeling restricted from movements. The padding is reinforced with molded PE protection, which keeps the players arms protected, reducing the risk of injuries.

Forearm Protection

The forearms feature a wraparound protection design. The design of the mold is made to wrap around the players forearm and provide protection to the surrounding areas. It allows players to be covered while on the ice, and the padding is also designed to stay in place, preventing unwanted movements. To reinforce the padding, Bauer used their CURV Composite material, which acts as a second layer of protection, so that players are kept safe while on the ice.

Strapping System

The Supreme Matrix elbow pads use the Dynaflex strapping system which can be found on many previous Bauer elbow pads. Dynaflex is both tough and soft, which makes it able to give players max protection without sacrificing mobility and has elite comfort and anchoring abilities.

Liner

The inside of the elbow pads feature a Thermomax liner, which is designed to manage moisture and keep players dry intense gameplay. It is constructed with moisture-wicking material that helps to draw sweat away from the body and accelerate evaporation, promoting a more comfortable and odor-free experience.
