Intro & New Features

The Bauer Supreme Matrix hockey shin guards were specifically designed by Bauer to bring elite-level specs to all levels of hockey players, promoting the best features and value. The Matrix combines features from previous Bauer models and adds upgraded features to give players an elite-level glove at a more affordable price point.

External Material

These gloves are constructed with a Pro Lite Tex and cable mesh exterior, providing a combination of breathability. The Pro Lite Tex material offers excellent resistance against abrasions and wear, while the polyester mesh increases the glove’s durability and flexibility. The mesh construction allows better airflow, promoting ventilation and reducing moisture buildup inside the glove. This feature helps keep the player’s hand cool and comfortable during intense gameplay.

Finger Design & Protection

The fingers on these gloves feature a three-piece design with Shotboost. The Shotboost design, along with the three-piece segmentation on the middle and ring fingers, allow for improved stick contact during shooting. This design optimizes hand position on the stick, ultimately maximizing power and control on every shot, while providing players with a high-level of protection.

Backhand Protection

Bauer designed the backhand of these gloves with a dual-density foam design that is strategically layered to offer optimal impact absorption and cushioning against heavy impacts. The backhand uses HD & PE inserts, which further enhanced the protective capabilities of this glove without compromising on flexibility or movement.

Thumb Design

The Supreme Matrix gloves use a three-piece flex thumb design, providing improved dexterity and grip. The thumb design is part of the Shootboost finger system, which optimizes hand position on the stick, promoting better connection and generating a stronger shot.

Cuff Design

These gloves are designed to feature a new, unique cuffroll shape. The shape is designed to contour the hand and provide a comfortable fit that isn’t too bulky when wearing these gloves. The cuff features AMP (Active Motion Protection) that provides amplified mobility with enhanced wrist protection that adapts with the player’s movements.

Palm Material & Gussets

The palm on this glove uses a stretch Connekt palm with a full overlay. This construction offers the player maximum comfort and a closer feel to the stick and the puck, in addition to having some extra durability. Making this area of the glove more durable has been a focus in modern times as an increasing number of sticks are made with more grip. The comfort stretch gussets also help keep the fingers malleable enough to move with you and your game.

Liner

Inside the gloves, players can experience the benefits from the Thermomax+ liner, which is designed to manage moisture effectively and keep players dry during intense gameplay. It utilizes moisture-wicking materials to draw sweat away from the body and accelerate evaporation, promoting a comfortable and odour-free experience. By keeping the player’s body dry, the Thermomax+ liner aims to enhance performance and comfort while on the ice.

The Bauer Supreme Matrix Intermediate Hockey Gloves come in sizes 12” and 12.5”. These gloves are also offered in Black/White, Black/Red, Camo, and Navy.
