The gear is designed to offer unparalleled protection against impacts in all directions while still allowing for lots of mobility. These shin guards feature a new shin cap mold, a full coverage calf guard, and a dual anchor strapping system.
Shin Protection
These shin guards feature Bauer’s X-Lite shield shin cap, offering enhanced mobility and an improved skating stride. The X-Flex shield shin cap features a hinge flex design that allows for a more natural and unrestricted range of motion while skating, ensuring that players can move with greater ease and efficiency on the ice.
Knee Cap Protection
The knees are protected with a full volume knee cap that provides a deep and secure fit. This knee cap design ensures a secure, yet comfortable fit while providing optimal protection. Additionally, the same shield technology used in the shin area extends to the knee, ensuring consistent levels of impact resistance.
Additionally, these shin guards feature a flexible construction to protect a portion of the thighs. The thigh protection is reinforced with HD foams that provide protection from impacts, while also being flexible so that players have freedom of movement, and won’t feel restricted while wearing these shin guards.
Calf Protection
To protect the back of the legs, Bauer implemented a full coverage calf guard. This calf guard is designed to wrap around the leg and provide protection against impacts of all forces while on the ice. The strapping keep the padding in place while the player moves on the ice, without restricting mobility.
Strapping System
The Supreme Fuse Youth shin guards feature a dual anchor strapping system, and can be found on the back of the shin guards. When properly adjusted, the shins fit snug around the players legs which allows the players to focus on skating and not having to constantly adjust their gear.
Liner
The inside of these shin guards are lined with Bauer’s Thermomax sublimated liner. Thermomax is amazing at repelling sweat and odor, keeping your pads fresher for longer. The liner will also keep you cool and comfortable while you are in your gear. They also include a removable comfort liner, which allows the player to customize the overall feel that is tailored to their needs.
