Intro & New Features

The Bauer Supreme F50 Pro Shin Guards are designed to provide unparalleled protection and performance along with the Supreme protective line for the 2026 season. The gear is designed to offer maximum protection against impacts, while still providing mobility so that players aren’t feeling restricted. This year, Bauer added some new features that make this line of shin guard better than before, including: a deeper knee and shin fit, and a lower profile calf guard with V-shape strap.

Shin Protection

These shin guards feature Bauer’s X-Lite shield shin cap, offering enhanced mobility and an improved skating stride. The X-Flex shield shin cap features a hinge flex design that allows for a more natural and unrestricted range of motion while skating, ensuring that players can move with greater ease and efficiency on the ice.

Knee Cap & Protection

The knees on these shin guards are protected with the innovative ErgoDynamic lab knee cap, offering a deeper and more natural fit. This advanced low profile kneecap design ensures a secure and comfortable feel while providing optimal protection. Additionally, the same shield technology used in the shin area extends to the knee, ensuring consistent levels of impact resistance.

Additionally, these shin guards feature a flexible construction to protect a portion of the thighs. The thigh protection is reinforced with HD foams that provide protection from impacts, while also being flexible so that players have freedom of movement, and won’t feel restricted while wearing these shin guards.

Calf Protection

The calves on the F50 Pro shin guards are protected with a full coverage, low profile Hyperlite foam calf guard. This design wraps around the leg and provides full coverage, so that the players are reduced from any chance of injury. The Hyperlite foam is designed to provide protection and disperse impact force away.

Strapping System

These shin guards feature a comfort lockstrap, which wraps around the upper portion of the shin, under the knee to keep the shin guard and protection in place. It has a velcro attachment and landing so that players can have a fit that is tailored to their needs. To further enhance the fit of this shin guard, Bauer added a V-Shape calf strap, which helps lock the pad in place through a velcro attachment.

Liner

Bauer designed these shin guards with a Thermomax+ liner, which is designed to manage moisture effectively and keep players dry during intense gameplay. It utilizes moisture-wicking materials to draw sweat away from the body and accelerate evaporation, promoting a more comfortable and odour-free experience. By keeping the player’s body dry, the Thermomax+ liner aims to enhance performance and comfort on the ice.

The inside lining is removable and features a molded air channel and skate zone, providing enhanced airflow and ventilation to keep the player cool during gameplay.
