The Bauer Supreme F40 hockey gloves offer players with next level protection and performance, as part of Bauer’s Supreme protective line in the 2026 season. These gloves are designed to offer great protection against impacts in all directions while still allowing for lots of maneuverability. This glove is a competitive-level glove that still includes some high-end features for comfort while keeping to a more affordable price point.

External Material

The exterior of the F40 gloves is made from poly mesh and textured PU leather, giving it a great design that is comfortable and will last through wear and tear on the ice. The poly mesh offers breathability, promoting air circulation to keep the hands cool and comfortable, and the PU leather adds an extra layer of protection.

Finger Design & Protection

The fingers of the F40 glove feature the use of Bauer’s Shotboost finger design, as seen on the Fuse and F50 Pro gloves. This design features a three-piece segmentation on the middle and ring fingers, allowing for improved stick contact during shooting. This design optimizes hand position on the stick, ultimately maximizing power and control in every shot. In addition to this, the fingers use MD foam with PE inserts to protect your hands from impacts.

Backhand Protection

The pre-curved backhand design offers a natural and comfortable fit, allowing players to maintain mobility and flexibility while wearing these gloves. Additionally, the gloves feature a HD foam insert on the backhand, providing robust impact resistance against high-velocity shots and collisions on the ice.

Thumb Design

The glove features a 2-piece flex thumb design, providing improved dexterity and grip. The thumb design is also part of the Shotboost finger system, which optimizes hand position on the stick, promoting better connection and generating a stronger shot.

Cuff Design

The F40 gloves feature a PU leather cuffroll, a new design within Bauer gloves. This construction ensures that the gloves stay responsive and closely connected to the movements of your hand, without restricting any movements, keeping the padding in one place.

Palm Material & Gussets

This glove uses a stretch Connekt palm. This palm design is optimized to provide improved flexibility, and it also allows for better grip and control, enhancing stick handling and puck control on the ice. Additionally, the gloves feature comfort stretch gussets, which ensure increased flexibility and mobility in the hand.

Liner

The Bauer F40 hockey gloves are equipped with a Hyper Sense finger liner, providing a comfortable and lightweight feel. This liner offers a nice, natural sensation, allowing players to stay focused on the game without distraction. The gloves also use a Thermomax sublimated backhand, which is designed to manage moisture and keep players dry during intense gameplay. It is constructed with moisture-wicking materials that help to draw sweat away from the body and accelerate evaporation, promoting a more comfortable and odor-free experience.
