Intro & New Features
The Bauer Supreme F40 Hockey Elbow Pads are a competitive level elbow pad, designed to offer a great level of protection along with the 2026 Supreme line. These elbow pads feature a low profile construction that keeps the elbow cap in place, integrated bicep design with molded PE protection, and a Thermomax Sublimated liner to keep players dry.
Elbow Caps
The elbows are protected with a unique and innovative design. The deep fitting, low profile elbow caps are constructed to stay in place, while the player moves on the ice. This design stays in place, and when adjusted correctly, it doesn’t allow for unwanted movements, keeping players covered at all times.
Bicep Protection
To protect the biceps, Bauer implemented a floating bicep design with molded PE protection. The floating bicep design allows the padding to be lightweight, so that players aren’t feeling restricted from movements. The padding is reinforced with molded PE protection, which keeps the players arms protected, reducing the risk of injuries.
Forearm Protection
These elbow pads feature a new 180° mold. The design of the mold is made to wrap around the players forearm and provide protection to the surrounding areas. It allows the players to be covered while on the ice, and the padding is also designed to stay in place, preventing unwanted movements. To reinforce the padding, Bauer used integrated padding which acts as a second layer of protection, so that players are kept safe while on the ice.
Strapping System
To keep the padding in place, Bauer implemented a wrap lock forearm strap and a comfort anchor strap. Both straps feature a velcro attachment, and connect to a velcro landing. When properly adjusted, the elbow pads are designed to hug the forearms and keep all of the protection in place, preventing any unwanted movements.
Liner
Inside the elbow pads, Bauer added their Thermomax Sublimated, which is designed to manage moisture and keep players dry during intense gameplay. It is constructed with moisture-wicking materials that help to draw sweat away from the body and accelerate evaporation, promoting a more comfortable and odor-free experience.
