Bauer has came out with their innovation goalie stick for the 2024 season, the Bauer Protocol. Engineered specifically for goalies who aren't afraid to play the puck. It's combined with a revolutionary P28G blade curve and hybrid toe shape, and is designed to help you control the game, launch pucks around the boards, and make tape-to-tape passes. Feel impenetrable with the Supreme Spyne which is built to help you make stick saves with unhindered confidence.
Shaft Construction
The shaft utilizes both Advanced Carbon Layering 2.0 (ACL) and Connectech technology to keep the stick both tough and lightweight. ACL 2.0 adds strategic layering throughout the shaft for a more reinforced construction, while Connectech is a responsive rubber layer in the handle that improves impact absorption and durability.
Paddle Construction
Made with the Supreme Spyne paddle geometry, this tried and true technology returns to the crease. With a strategically placed spine down the back of the paddle, it can help give you the ultimate confidence when making stick saves and clearing pucks from around the net.
Blade Construction/Stiffness
The hybrid toe is a redesigned toe that features a square shape at the top of the blade to help stop hard board rims, while the bottom of the blade is rounded to help you pull the puck off the boards and pass to your teammates. It is features a P28G curve which is a popular player curve that is designed to keep the puck secure on your stick and make quick plays behind the net.
Graphics
The Protocol graphics are a clean, new, and low-profile look for Bauer sticks. It is mainly purple with the Bauer logo being purple on the paddle, as well as black and grey accents throughout. The text along the stick outlines the Bauer logo as well as the technology used.
Grip
The Protocol uses Pentagrip, which can also be found on Bauer's other top-of-the-line goalie sticks. The grip style combines a soft, grippy texture with a five-sided shaft for a strong hold on your stick when needed.
