Intro & New Features

Bauer has brought their ever-popular Elite skate line to goalies playing roller hockey. For the 2025 season, the Elite roller skate features a Versacomp construction, 40oz felt tongue, an upgraded toe cap, and the aggressive Frontloader chassis as well as new court wheels.

Boot Construction

The Elite skate uses a Versacomp quarter similar to the Pro ice skate offering good lateral support and rigidity. Paired with their StanceFlex+ technology, the Elite boot offers a good combination of energy transfer in a soft yet supportive package.

Liner

The liner in the Elite skate is their Comfort Liner. This liner offers great moisture wicking and comfort to keep your feet dry and snug during play.

Tongue

Bauer has equipped the Elite skate with a 40oz tongue which is great for flexibility and added lace bite protection.

Outsole

A DigiPrint outsole comes stock in the Elite skate, providing goalies with additional power transfer to achieve optimal push.

Bearings, Chassis & Wheels

The Elite goal skate has come with a chassis designed specifically for goalies. The Frontloader is a high performance aluminum roller hockey chassis designed to naturally lean the goaltender forward by raising the back end of the chassis up slightly for a more comfortable stance, with space given ahead of the back wheel for a boot strap to loop through. Paired with Abec 5 bearings and the new Bauer Court wheel, the Elite Roller Skate is ideal for the goalie looking for a competitive package.

Sizing

The Bauer Elite Goalie Roller Skate is available in full and half sizes starting at 7 and going up to 11.5. The Elite skate is a medium volume skate, designed to fit a standard foot and comes equipped with a reinforced toe box, heel pocket, and a built-in toe loop.
