Bauer Elite Junior Goalie Stick (2023)

Intro/New Features

Bauer looks to provide a wide variety of options for goaltenders, and making sure goalies can get the equipment they need is a very important part of that goal. The Elite goalie stick has been upgraded with some tech from previous high-end gear at a more budget-friendly price point, featuring a UD carbon construction, an ExpanCel Bridge core, and a Vapor-inspired geometrical construction.

Shaft Construction

The shaft is constructed with unidirectional carbon, which provides exceptional strength and stiffness while keeping the overall weight of the stick low. The unidirectional nature of the carbon fibres provides targeted reinforcement in strategic areas of the stick for increased durability. UD carbon also enhances the responsiveness and energy transfer, making it easier and more efficient to pass or shoot when needed.

Paddle Construction

An ExpanCel Bridge core has been inherited by the Elite goalie stick from the Mach, which is quite the upgrade. Expancel is designed to enlarge and contract depending on the situation in order to reach a desired durability; it is also very lightweight, making it ideal for paddle design.

Blade Construction/Stiffness

The blade also employs an ExpanCel Bridge core for a lighter weight, greater durability, and an overall optimized feel when handling and stopping the puck.

Graphics

The Elite goal stick moves with the rest of the Elite family toward a lighter colouration with a bit more pop. This stick is majority white and lightly coloured near the top and along the shaft, and the Elite text logo is visible at the centre of the shaft. The colours are reversed on the black variation.

The Elite Junior goalie stick is available in 22” and 21” lengths in the following colourways: Silver/Black, Black, Blue, and Red. This stick is only available with the P31 curve.
