Bauer 950 Junior Goalie Mask

Intro & New Features

The Bauer 950 goalie mask has been redesigned for the 2025 season to provide goalie with high-level protection and comfort at all times. The mask features a Kraibon reinforced carbon shell, a thermocore zero sweatband and DCT cup with a stretch spandex harness.

Outer Shell

Bauer has implemented an all new KRAIBON reinforced carbon shell, which is an upgrade from the previous Powercore composite shell. The new outer shell is designed to provide goalies with high-level protection from impacts that may come their way. The shell construction is also lightweight, which provides goalies with a mask that they can wear and not feel weighed down.

Liner

Inside the mask, Bauer added Poron material inside the cheeks and forehead. The Poron material is designed to provide comfort to goalies while they wear the mask. The durable foams are very high-quality which means they won’t wear down as easily. The DCT crown features lightweight and durable padding in the crown that promotes comfort while reducing sweat and water retention.

Cage

The 950 cage utilizes a strong new enhanced puck view wire to suit more goalies sight-lines providing better vision on the ice when compared to previous profile masks.

Chin Cup

The mask uses a DCT deep fit cup with stretch spandex harness. This design allows goalies to rest their chins on the cup which is comfortable during the play.

Sweatband

The sweatband in the 950 mask is made up of Bauer’s Thermocore Zero material, which is designed to wick away sweat and moisture, keeping you cool while on the ice.

Certification

With the CSA straight bar cage, the 950 has both HECC and CSA certification. The mask is suitable for playing in both Canada and the USA in the current configuration.
